A former housekeeper of Kylie Jenner has filed a lawsuit against the reality TV star. In a complaint filed on April 17 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the former employee alleged she was subjected to multiple forms of workplace discrimination, including harassment and retaliation.

In addition to the 29-year-old star, the court document names other entities associated with the Jenner family, including Tri Star Services LLC and La Maison Family Services LLC, as defendants. The plaintiff outlined more than 11 separate instances of alleged workplace violations.

Ex-Housekeeper Cites Toxic Workplace At Kylie Jenner’s Residence

Angelica Hernandez Vasquez filed a lawsuit against Kylie Jenner alleging multiple workplace violations, including national origin discrimination and harassment, discrimination based on race, religion and disability, as well as failure to provide reasonable accommodation.

According to the filing, the Los Angeles County Superior Court has classified the matter as an unlimited civil case, meaning claims exceed $35,000. The case is also classified as an employment-related dispute.

So far, Vasquez has said legal steps related to the complaint have been taken. However, the former housekeeper has not publicly detailed all the incidents that led to the lawsuit.

She alleged she was targeted by some of Kylie Jenner’s supervisors. They snapped their fingers at her, mocked her accent and discriminated against her because they viewed Vasquez’s Salvadoran background as inferior. They also allegedly threatened to deport her.

The former employee further said her complaints about the behavior were largely dismissed. It is unclear whether Jenner was involved in the alleged conduct. The housekeeper has named the star as a defendant but has not directly accused her of misconduct.

Kylie Jenner Skips Responding To Bombshell Lawsuit

Kylie Jenner has not yet formally responded to the lawsuit filed by her former housekeeper. The former employee is seeking damages not only from Jenner but also from the other corporate entities named as defendants.

Angelica Hernandez Vasquez has not specified the total amount of damages she is seeking in connection with the alleged workplace violations.

It hasn’t been the first time that Jenner faced legal challenges. The 28-year-old encountered similar controversy over her cosmetic business. Some of her workers complained about the horrific conditions at the manufacturing facility. They revealed that they faced ill and degraded behavior and had to endure strict workplace rules.

However, unlike the recent filing, back then, Jenner was not directly accused of negligence in light of the failing conditions. But it did attract a lot of controversy over how the operations of her globally recognized business actually unfolded behind the limelight.
