Woman confesses to killing her 14-year-old daughter to allegedly protect her from Elon Musk.
A 41-year-old woman from Wisconsin, identified as Tyiece Oninski, allegedly described to the dispatchers in a lengthy non-emergency conversation that she had killed her 14-year-old daughter. She also told dispatchers that she did it to protect her daughter from Elon Musk.
A criminal complaint has been lodged against Oninski. The complaint stated that the call came into the Rock County Communications Center on March 20, according to a report by WMTV.
During the approximately 15 minute call, Oninski confessed to killing her daughter by stabbing her the night before in her residence. The victim, the 14-year-old daughter of Oninski, has been identified as Kuren Rein.
Oninski told the dispatcher that after stabbing her teenage daughter, she used the same knife to inflict wounds on herself in an attempted suicide. She said she had laid down beside her daughter and later called an ambulance and a hearse.

When the dispatcher asked if her daughter needed an ambulance, Oninski replied, “She’s dead, honey. She needs a hearse. The ambulance was for me, I attempted to kill myself afterward…didn’t work.”
When asked where she had hurt herself, Oninski replied, “in the bedroom, where I murdered my daughter,” adding that she sustained injuries to her neck, chest, heart, and lungs, according to the complaint.
Oninski told authorities that she had hurt her daughter to protect her from someone else, later specifying that it was to protect her from billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk. She did not clarify why she believed this or whether she knew him personally.
When Oninski arrived at the hospital, she “enthusiastically” asked, “So is my name like all over the news yet?” The compliant alleges that she was disappointed when told it was not.
A toxicology report showed that Oninski had benzodiazepines, amphetamines, and THC in her blood. According to the complaint, when officers arrived at Oninski’s residence, they found her daughter lying facedown in a large pool of blood on the floor of what appeared to be a four-season porch used as a bedroom.
The victim had sustained wounds on the right side of her neck and her right wrist. Officers noted that she had no defensive wounds. The child was found lying with her feet toward the door and her head near a dresser, arms tucked under her head, according to the complaint. EMTs found a black pocket knife and an empty leather sheath near the victim’s right side.
Officers spoke to the owner of the home, the victim's grandfather, who said he had just woken up and believed his granddaughter was at school.
Oninski was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide. She is being held on a cash bond of $1 million.
