“Get the f- from me, p-” the terrified teenagers shouted back. She then turned around and started walking in the opposite direction, in an attempt to get away from the teenage boy, who was assaulting her. As the victim walks away, the attacker runs toward her and again blocks her path. He is then seen grabbing the girl’s face and pushing her backward.
He then walks away, and the girl is left on the ground, motionless, as the same person in the background is heard yelling, “Yo, nice!”
Police said the girl suffered a concussion and was taken by EMS to Harlem Hospital, where she received treatment. Police said the girl is now in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the boy has been arrested and charged with assault. He was scheduled to appear in Manhattan Family Court on April 23.
The authorities have not released the attacker's identity due to his age. The New York Police Department did not immediately comment on the viral video.
Users on social media were enraged about the video, and they demanded justice for the young girl.
