Around 10:30 p.m. on April 16, officers responded to a stabbing call in Richlands and found a male victim with a stab wound to his neck, the Fayetteville Police Department said.
Medics transported the victim, who remained unidentified, to a local hospital, where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
Investigators went to the residence and discovered the victim had gotten into a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, 32-year-old April Mcrae.
According to police, Mcrae allegedly hit her boyfriend with a glass bottle during an argument.
That is when Mcrae’s son, whose age was not revealed, allegedly stabbed the victim in the neck.
