FrontPageDetectives reported in March that police charged Gosney and her boyfriend, James Hamilton, in connection to the death of James Hutchinson, 6. Gosney reported Hutchinson, her son, missing, but police said she was the killer.
Police frantically searched for Hutchinson along a riverbed but have not found his remains.
Gosney admitted torturing and hog-tying two of Hutchinson’s siblings, according to the Journal News. Gosney tried to abandon the three children., but Hutchinson, a first-grader, tried to hold on to her minivan and she sped off. He died as he tried to stop his mom from fleeing.
Gosney brought Hutchinson’s body back to the home she shared with Hamilton, according to the Journal News.
The duo put the child’s body in a spare room and days later threw the boy into the Ohio River, police said and the News Journal reported.
Hutchinson’s feet were tied to a concrete block before being tossed in the river, according to the report.
