The son of a county judge in Tennessee was charged in connection to two shootings, including one that was fatal, investigators said.
On Aug. 13, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations started to investigate the shooting of a woman in Shelbyville, Tennessee. They were asked to join that investigation with one of the fatal shooting of 22-year-old James William Warner, of Shelbyville.
Warner was shot and killed in Nashville, investigators said.
Rich was arrested on Aug. 15 in connection to the shooting of the woman. This week, he was indicted on charges, including first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and attempted murder in connection to both shootings.
Rich was on parole at the time of the shooting in Shelbyville, WKRN reported. He had faced charges in connection to a burglary.
Rich is being held in a Davidson County jail without bond.
