A homeowner allegedly opened fire on a father and his 13-year-old daughter after they briefly used his driveway

In an interview with KTRK, a woman, who identified the victims as her son-in-law and 13-year-old granddaughter, said they had just left the home and used the neighboring driveway to turn around when Seth came outside his home and began arguing with them.

"My daughter tried to de-escalate the situation by saying, 'It's not that serious, sir.' Oh yes, it is.' Next thing I know, he's brandishing a weapon, firing," she said.

According to authorities, neighbors reported hearing dozens of gunshots as multiple rounds were fired at the victims' car, including one bullet that struck the front passenger seat where the 13-year-old girl had been sitting.

"She's gonna be traumatized for a long time," the woman stated.

Social media users expressed outrage toward the suspect, calling for him to be jailed.

"He needs to be in jail and not let out until he knows how to live among society... He can't control his emotions, and he's quick with the trigger... he doesn't need to be around people," one user wrote.

"People used to turn around in my driveway all the time and I would never shoot at them!! Unless he is damaging the yard or driveway he shouldn't care that much! He's lucky he didn't kill anyone! But he still deserves jail time and his guns taken from him!" another user commented.

"Wow I am concerned about how many people seem to defend this behavior. I thought shooting at people who are not trying to physically harm you was a crime," a third user remarked.

While a fourth X user said, "No sane rational person would randomly shoot at someone doing a U-turn in their driveway. Plus, the way he reacted…..it made me wonder if that f***er is hiding something in his house. Someone needs to search his house entirely."

Another social media user shared a similar experience, stating, "One of my sister's does the samething at our Grandma's house. She puts the trash can in the middle of the driveway and our brother politely drives around it and parks in the driveway. SMH

A father and his 13-year-old daughter were allegedly targeted in a shooting after using a homeowner’s driveway

Although no one was hurt, Daigre, who works as a lead power generation technician at TerraVici Drilling Solutions, according to a LinkedIn profile cited by Atlanta Black Star, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and is being held in the Fort Bend County Jail on an $80,000 bond.

Nearby residents said he actively prevents vehicles from using his driveway, including using trash cans as barriers. The victim's grandmother, however, said the response was not justified.

"I'm sorry to hear that, but I mean, you know, we might not like that it's raining one day. What you gonna do? Curse God?" she said.
