Tiger Woods’ ongoing injuries and legal troubles are not only affecting him but also those around him, particularly his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump. The golf legend, who stayed away from the sport for a year because of multiple injuries, was arrested on March 27 on a DUI charge.
Woods was driving a Land Rover in Jupiter Island, Florida. As he tried to overtake a high-speed trailer, his vehicle flipped onto its side. Fortunately, the golfer came out of the accident unharmed but was arrested on charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
Vanessa Trump Has Reportedly Issued an Ultimatum to Tiger Woods
Vanessa Trump has reportedly issued an ultimatum to Tiger Woods.
Though a breathalyzer test confirmed that he had not consumed alcohol, officers described him as lethargic and impaired during the incident. Woods was later released from custody the same day. However, the incident seems to have angered his partner, Vanessa Trump.
According to sources quoted by the Daily Mail, Vanessa has issued her boyfriend an ultimatum to get his life together. “She’s both disappointed and a little bit p*****, if I’m being honest. It’s a definite red flag, and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around,” said the source.
Another insider, quoted by People Magazine, echoed similar sentiments. However, the source added that though Trump has to deal with a lot, she still loves Woods. “Vanessa and Tiger are in love. She is very supportive of his golf endeavors because, despite his age and injuries, golf dominates Tiger’s life,” the source said.

Talking about how the relationship with Woods sometimes gets overwhelming for Trump, the source added, “She has her hands full sometimes, but Vanessa also has a life of her own and children to care for, so she isn’t around it all the time.”
According to the insider, the couple is going strong despite the constant struggles in Woods’ personal and professional life. “She is happy with him, and any issues they have are not about her. It’s dealing with his frustrations about playing great golf and his pain that at some times is really confining,” the source said.

Woods, 50, and Trump, 48, have been dating for more than a year. They made their romance official with an Instagram post in March 2025. Ever since, Trump has been spotted cheering for Woods on several occasions.
Before finding love with the golfer, Trump was married to President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald John Trump Jr. The former couple shares five children. On the other hand, Woods was previously married to model Elin Nordegren, with whom he shares two children.
Woods’ golf career took a hit in March 2025 when he suffered a ruptured Achilles while preparing for the reason. Then, in October, he underwent a lumbar disc replacement. Woods made a comeback to the golf course on March 24, 2026, with the TGL league, but got into an accident just three days later.
