Delivery driver befriended elderly woman and then raped her, cops say. Authorities worry there may be more victims.
A parcel delivery driver befriended an elderly woman in her home then raped her, police in Canada said.
This week, Toronto police announced they arrested Praveen “Bobby” Balhumar, 29, in connection to the case.
Around 1 a.m. Dec. 26, police responded to a sexual assault, according to Toronto police. An 84-year-old woman was asleep in her home when a man knocked on her door.

The man, identified as Balhumar, befriended the victim and made his way into the home, Toronto police said. He then raped the victim and fled the area in a vehicle.
Police say that Balhumar is a parcel delivery driver and there may be other victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact (416) 808-7474.
Balhumar was charged with unlawfully in a dwelling, assault, forcible confinement and three counts of sexual assault.
