Gruesome Video Shows Five Mexican Drug Cartel Assassins Beheaded In ISIS-Style Clip

Disturbing footage that's made its way to social media shows five drug cartel assassins brutally beheaded by a rival drug cartel in Mexico in a horrifying ISIS-style execution video.
The video shows the men, identified as hitmen from the Sinaloa Cartel, purportedly confessing to extorting and abducting locals in Motozintla, Chiapas, Mexico, while they worked with corrupt police officers, the Daily Star reported.
While making the apparent confession, the men point fingers at a local politician from the MORENA political party, which happens to be the same political party as the current President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The Sinaloa Cartel, led by infamous drug lord Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán until he was arrested in 2016, is considered to be Mexico’s biggest drug trafficking organization.
The hitmen were reportedly accused of killing three businessmen in Chiapas, according to the Daily Star.
While the assassins appear to belong to the Sinaloa Cartel, it is unclear which cartel the executioners could be members of. The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) is the only cartel that rivals the Sinaloans in terms of size and the group is known for having a presence in Chiapas. The men, however, could also belong to a local group.
In a clip shared on social media, one of the captives can be heard confessing: “We were apprehending citizens with the Ministerial, State and sector police. This was done because we had an agreement with them. They were being paid every month by us.”
He goes on to state, "We were abducting people from the businesses. As well as kidnapping individuals from drug spots where marijuana and cocaine were being sold. So that they would fall into formation with us. Whoever wouldn’t align with us was disappeared. It was by this manner that the citizens of Motozintla would pay us extortion."
In a second gruesome clip, the executioners can be seen simultaneously hacking at the necks of the five assassins with machetes, Daily Star reported.
It took the men 26 seconds to fully decapitate the men and triumphantly hold their heads in the air.

"This goes out to all the son of a bitch Sinaloan gunmen who try to come kill here," one of the assassins says as he turns to the camera with a head in hand.
He warns: “The town of Motozintla already has a plaza, it has its owner you sons of bitches. Get the f**k out of here you f**kers. The next sons of bitches who try to come through here will meet a fate worse than this."
