Streamer, IShowSpeed, was recently caught off guard after a fan kissed him unexpectedly while he was livestreaming a visit to the Dominican Republic, as part of his Caribbean tour.

The streamer, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., began the Caribbeanaf Tour on April 25, 2026. The 15-day livestream tour has already seen Speed visit Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, among other stops.

Fan wearing wig storms into IShowSpeed’s bus mid-stream.

About 50 minutes into the livestream, the YouTuber, who has amassed more than 50 million subscribers, was riding an open-top bus surrounded by several people when a man wearing a wig, a reindeer-horn headband and a cheetah-print outfit suddenly jumped into the vehicle.

After getting onto the bus, the man tried to get close to the streamer but was quickly pushed away by others on board. Speed then asked the driver to stop and let the man onboard.

"It’s OK. It’s a reindeer," said Speed, adding, "Come here. Come here."

"I love you. I love your feed," the man said after he entered the bus again and attempted to kiss Speed. The unexpected move appeared to surprise the streamer, after which his bodyguard successfully pushed the man out of the bus.

"What the h--- going on, bro?" Speed said before turning to someone who asked if he liked it, prompting the streamer to crack a smile.

"Chat what is going on, bro. The Dominican Republic is not real, bro. It is not real, bro," he added.

Even though Speed brushed the incident off with a laugh, many fans voiced frustration, saying the man crossed the line.

"You can’t just do that and kiss him just like that, some fans are overdoing it for real," one user wrote.

"That was a whole a-- man tryna give speed a smooch 😭😭😭," another person wrote.

"Imagine if he did that to a girl he would be cancel," another X user remarked. While another user expressed similar views, stating, "What you call a "surprise" is serious assault but if a man did this to a woman you would be all over the offender."

A fourth user stated, "Someone jumping into his car is wild, but the tour guide asking “did you like it?” made the whole clip even more unserious."

A similar incident occurred just minutes earlier when a woman, screaming hysterically, jumped into the vehicle to hug the 21-year-old YouTuber.

Even after hugging the streamer, the girl continued screaming, prompting Speed to question, "What you screaming for? I'm right here. Stop screaming. I'm right here. You got to scream."

Speaking about fan interactions in a 2024 interview with Forbes, IShowSpeed claimed that sometimes it can become overwhelming, recalling a moment in Malaysia when he was locked inside a restaurant due to large crowds outside.

"When I was in Malaysia, I was locked inside of a restaurant. I couldn't get out of the restaurant because there were just too many people. It just wouldn't be safe," he recalled.

He continued:

"Sometimes, it gets too crazy, and I hate that. It's always a way to have fun, turn up, get crazy, but, you know, still in a safe way. Sometimes people get too crazy, but it is what it is."
