Katie Price Confirms Husband Alive After Mysterious Disappearance and Dubai Arrest

Katie Price says husband Lee Andrews contacted her from a Dubai prison after nearly two weeks during which his whereabouts were unknown.
Model Katie Price says she has found her businessman husband, Lee Andrews, nearly two weeks after reporting him missing and amid growing speculation about his whereabouts. According to The Sun, Andrews contacted Price from prison on May 27.
The Latest on What Katie Price Said
Price said her husband was arrested and detained on suspicion of espionage and is being held at Dubai's Al Awir Prison.
“I have found him - he is alive, and he is ok,” Price said. “I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy. I don’t know much more than that right now.”
According to the report, Andrews’ father, Peter, arranged the brief phone call from the prison’s call box.
The 48-year-old reality star revealed Andrews made a brief two-minute call from the jail.
Lee Andrews Was Arrested on May 14
The Sun reported that Andrews was arrested on May 14 despite reportedly keeping a low profile to avoid authorities.
A few days before his arrest, he allegedly moved his belongings out of his apartment and relocated to his father’s villa in Dubai.
Authorities reportedly told the family that Andrews is expected to pay a four-figure fine and could be released on June 1.
Lee Andrews’ Disappearance and ‘Black Site’ Claims
The businessman disappeared nearly two weeks ago, leaving his wife and relatives uncertain about his whereabouts.
His family filed a missing-person report with the British Embassy in Dubai.
In an earlier Instagram post, Price wrote: “Missing my husband so much it breaks my heart knowing he is still missing.”
She previously claimed that Andrews had been arrested and taken to a “black site,” citing the last text messages she received from him.
Speaking to fans on The Katie Price Show, Price said she was relying on authorities to locate her husband. “There’s nothing I can do, nothing more that I can say. And the police are dealing with it. I’m just leaving it to the police,” she said.
Katie Price previously joked about her husband's disappearance on Instagram.
“I’m not gonna talk about it anymore, I’m just staying quiet because it’s getting ridiculous now, people just taking the p**s out of everything.”
She added, “The police are now handling it, the British police, British consulate, the foreign office, Interpol they’re on the case looking for Lee. All I can do is just get on with my life."
“I’ve got lots of exciting things coming up, and I’m just waiting for a call."
“What am I supposed to do, sit here and cry and do nothing, stay in bed?”
She also said: “For my own sanity, I am taking a step back.”
Earlier, Andrews’ father Peter told the Daily Mail that his son had been arrested but was safe.
“He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge,” he said.
At the time, Price dismissed those reports as “fake news.”
Missed Flight Raised Alarm
Concern first emerged when Andrews and Price were due to travel to the United Kingdom for an interview on Good Morning Britain and she was unable to contact him.
Price, who has appeared on I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother and Katie Price: My Crazy Life, married Andrews in January 2026. The couple exchanged vows just days after meeting.
In May 2026, reports surfaced alleging that Andrews was a conman, with journalist Clemmie Moodie claiming he had scammed her out of £1,000. Andrews has not publicly responded to the allegation.
