When police asked Kloth what happened, she allegedly confessed that she had stabbed Rosch. As she was taken to the police station, she apparently showed no remorse and said she was irritated by the situation. During interrogation, Kloth said she had been in a relationship with Rosch for the last three years. Though they did not live together, he often visited her apartment.

On the day of the stabbing, Kloth was at work when she texted Rosch about having dinner together. She said she wanted to go to a bar for a date. However, Rosch arrived at her home with dinner instead, which angered her and led to an argument.

“[The victim] proceeded to come over to the apartment, and he had chicken drumsticks, seasoning, and was planning on using the air fryer. The defendant stated Victim A began pushing her buttons, she was upset, and an argument ensued,” the arrest document said.

Kloth added that her anger escalated and she stabbed her boyfriend. She further said that it would be ‘cool’ if police decided to lock her up. She appeared in court on April 27 and was charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide. Her bond was set at $2 million.

During the hearing, the victim’s father, Matthew Rosch, appeared in court and asked for strict punishment for Kloth. “I stand before you a shattered man. Please never let that monster walk the streets ever again,” he said.

Kloth’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 29. If convicted, she could face life in prison.

Meanwhile, Rosch’s landlord told investigators that the victim had already expressed concerns about his girlfriend’s behavior. A week before the stabbing, Kloth allegedly bit Rosch’s thumb. “Please take my full name, in case something ever happens to me,” Rosch told his landlord and another woman at the time.
